Hello,
I find Picasa excellent for filing and viewing pics but I've recently moved to Windows 8 and Picasa doesn't appear to work to well on it. It installed fine but it regularly crashes and is very slow to update photos. The Picasa webpage suggests that it isn't yet supported for windows 8.

Does anyone have any recommendations for good, preferably free, alternatives out there for that will work on Windows 8
