No Lock on saorsat

    Has there been any changes to frequencies etc for saorsat? no problem locking onto 9D east signal with universal lnb but when swap for KA and set meter for saorsat no lock meter reads upto 80dbvu but no lock? faulty LnB perhaps?

    8 or 9 months ago, the FEC was changed from 1/2 to 2/3. Not aware of any other changes.

    OK thanks, Did suspect faulty LNB however signal does peak to 80dbvu signal in search mode and i contacted horizon who cheaked software download for saorsat excellent customer service i must say, surely dish at 80cm for midlands large enough with no obstacle to block signal so will beam dish with universal LNB for 9d east then swap lnb to KA and see if signal registers with receiver.

    Seems to be slight fault with HD S2 meter not locking onto saorsat, I reprogrammed saorview Transponder etc but still no joy locking onto KA 9.0 east so using universal LNB found 9.0 east then switched to KA LNB and fine tuned elevation which gave max 80DBVU displays decent picture and signal through Triax HD receiver, guess i will have to get Horizon to cheak out meter when things quieten down after xmas.
