Hi -- sorry if this has been posted before but can't find --- I'm looking for a 1 - 2 piece band to play my wedding. Its a small venue so don't want the typical wedding sound - plus don't want to pay the ridiculous prices! Looking for musicians that will get people dancing, who play alternative music like a really good pub musician. Finding it really hard to find anyone so any suggestion would be great - based in Munster

What particularly are you looking for? You'll need to think about what you want playing; based on 1-2 is it just a vocalist you want, or a vocalist and guitar, or vocal/guitarist + something else?

It may be worth going around places in Munster yourself on Friday and Saturday nights where you know they have local music. When you see a musician you live, ask them for a card, and ask them if they would play a wedding. That'd be my suggestion, simply based on that you want that pub sound, and it'll kill two birds with one stone, finding what you want and someone that'll play that wedding.

it would be vocalist and guitar and maybe second guitar -- thanks for the advice will definitely start going to more music bars for ideas
