Bluetooth canal phones

I recently bought a chinese android phone as a replacement for my aging nokia lumia 820. I had been wanting to try android for a while but not willing to blow a few hundred on a named brand in case I didn't take to it. While I am quite happy with my new purchase, the sound quality from the headphone socket is a disaster and makes my Fischer headphones sound terrible. Someone suggested to me that if I use bluetooth headphones I won't be using the amp in the phone and it should sound perfect.
The only ones I have found (I prefer ear canal head phones) are the plantronics back beat go 2 although there are some serious mixed reviews. Any recommendations on what to get?
