Tricep Injury?

    Hi,

Not sure if this is right place to post this but recently I have had severe trouble sleeping over pain in my tricep .

During the day when I'm up and moving about I feel a dull ache in my tricep. But at night when kids go to bed and l start to relax the pain worsens. I get maybe 4 hours sleep b4 l wake with the pain in my tricep. When I touch it it feels as if the tricep is constant flexed. The doctor gave me anti inflammatories and referred me to physio but the physio is on honeymoon.

Can anyone provide me with some info on how to deal with this as the lack of sleep is starting to affect me with 2 young kids to keep entertained. I'm guessing I've damaged the tricep in some way but don't know how as there wasn't any standout moment where I remember damaging it.

Has this just happened randomly? Have you been going to the gym at all or what is your currently daily exercises etc?

It could be anything. No one here will be able to tell you what it is over the internet. That can only be done with a proper examination.

There are literally hundreds of physios out there, you don't have to go with the one that you were referred to.

Make that your priority and go from there
