Help- Vinyl Record Player

Hi there,
I am looking for help in buying a vinyl Record player for my dad for Christmas. I have no idea about the item what so ever and really need advice. We have about €100 to spend. Can anyone help in regards advice on them, where to get them, what to watch out for, etc. Thanks.

Hey trixychic not too sure where you are based. I am in cork and I know the local record shop in Douglas court sells them.. If not they are becoming quite popular again so you should not have too much trouble sourcing one..

And I must say I love it. It is nice and neat, lid closes down on it so it doesn't get dusty. You have your radio and your mp3 player on it. The only annoying thing is you cannot skip through the MP3 player on it but it doesn't matter really..

I actually got it sorted just the other day. The one we got him was a very basic model. We'll probably have to upgrade him next year. But i think for now it'll do!

Oh great well at least you got sorted. Sure most of them unless you go high spec are the same they all make music..I am sure he will love it..Happy Christmas to you
