The best christmas gift I ever received was this little bundle of joy right here... His name is Murphy, and what an amazing creature he is.

He's a collie rescue dog two and a half years old, so we took him in and gave him a brand new life. Ye can't ask for better than this coming to christmas. My first dog was when I was 1 year old and even at my age now I still love collies, amazing intelligent creatures for sure.

It has definitely made my christmas.

Let's celebrate Christmas, the OP said.
Making it sound like you're dying instead.

    Also there's a Christmas forum?

Was planning on going home but was waiting on an appointment for a surgery consultation. I was afraid to book anything as I was certain the dates would clash. I eventually got an appointment, the 12th of January, but by the time I got it, prices had shot up and it just wasn't worgh it financially.

So I'm spending another Spanish Christmas with my GF and her family.

All I want for christmas is a big pile of magic mushrooms and a strip of acid tabs. Sadly instead I'll be getting a plate of overboiled sprouts.

    Christmas mass
    Watching herself open her gifts
I've refrained from watching any christmas movies all year so I'l enjoy them extra now.
Getting to huge amounts of food I couldn't justify earlier in the year.
    Mince pies.
    Strictly come dancing christmas special.
    Lovely cold christmas day walk

    I love me some christmas.

Dont want to change theme of this forum but does anyone know how I can get a copy of the link of the ad last year for (Eircom I think) of two decorations being unpacked each year - a reindeer and a fairy - and they never get placed near each other until one year, they are packed away together. My elderly mother has me mithered about this so if anyone would help.................. Btw I've searched Youtube and Google and no luck.

Both non-drinkers and calorie counters can point their judgemental stares elsewhere, I'm going to over-indulge my ass off this Christmas :D

I'm going home to see the folks so a nice family Christmas this year. Not too fussed about prezzies, but I love me a big ol turkey dinner, some crappy cracker jokes and then a nice snooze in front of the telly. Mostly just looking forward to having some time off. Saved my holidays this year so I've got 16 glorious days off. Eating, drinking and napping in various combinations will be the order of the day..Can't wait.

    Happy Christmas fellow AH'ers

Heading west to the wife's home place...

Copious amounts of food, red wine, beer so I'll get stuck in.

Looking forward to a nice break from work, place is doing my skull in. Hopefully I'll get to take in a movie or two...really want to see the Hobbit.
