I'm living and working in an Irish bar in Belgium now for the last 6 months and although I'm enjoying it I'd like to move on. I was thinking about going to Spain for a yr or 2, any tips on what sites to use to look for work and accommodation??
    Cheers

Use you contacts in Belgium, talk to customers etc and make your intentions known.
Spain is not the place to be going looking work , will be work in the large resorts and cities but your gonna have a lot of competition for decent jobs that arent handing out flyers to naff bars

Unemployment is about 25% and Spanish businesses in my experience have a preference for locals. Your best bet is through contacts but jobs in irish bars will be very difficult to find over there.

Would you consider the south of France maybe? You might have better luck.

Hello, I am Irish and am a primary teacher. I was recently offered a job in Asturias, Gijon Spain, as a teacher in a private British school. Wages are 21, 838 per year, about 420 per week. My hours are 9:15a.m. to 16:15P.M. In comparison to Ireland those wages are v low. I know cost of living there is cheaper, but gosh how much cheaper? 420 a week feels like barely enough to feed oneself. Could people tell me there opinions? Any help/information is really appreciated! People living in Spain or have lived in Spain please!!!
