Not as big a game as others, but I think Ulster need the BP.

Solid preview, could have done with a table. 8 out of 10.

Two huge kicks to touch for Scarlets. Now they have a penalty from the line out. 3-0. 'Mon Ulster!

Scarlets scrum on top there, that's worrying.

iHumph with the obligatory missed tackle almost gifts them a try

Is there a rule that you can't tackle someone on the floor?

Ah - the commentator explained it. Can't tackle but you don't have to let him up.

Ulster giving away too many penalties - indisciplined.

I actually thought (dunno why) that rule only existed in the 22

Awful stuff from ulster so far. Silly errors and poor penalties given away.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,805 ✭✭✭Swan Curry

Ulster are an incredibly stupid team, it's irritating to watch

    Harsh penalty.

To be fair some of the penalties have been debateable. Still this is pretty abject.

There's the Rhys Priestland we all know

Ulster looking fairly toothless, hope the 2nd half is better

It's one of the most incorrectly quoted laws. You don't have to let him up, you just can't go off your feet. Once he's down, you can attack and jackal as long as you don't go off your own feet.

I do love the Neil doak style of coaching. As an Ulster fan I do envy Leinster and Munster mentalities

Not a fan myself so far but it is hard to judge him as he hasn't had complete controll all season. We will hope to see a second half reaction.

This is a dire showing from Ulster. Hard to see where the spark will come from for a turnaround.

Lacklustre affair......Ulster have no urgency. Hard to believe they need a bonus point win here. Almost as if they have given up.

They don't need a try bonus

Yeah it was actually. Two inside balls, like twice as good as Leinster.

Brilliant kick to touch for IHumph there. Great chance. Didn't get the try (should have) but have a penalty.
