Was traveling home on a cold night with the heaters on full blast when they suddenly stopped. No warning, noise or smell of burn. Checked and replaced a few parts but still no joy. Here's a list of what I done
Checked fuse and replaced because it was blown
Put power to the blower fan and worked perfectly
    Replaced the resister no difference
Replaced the control panel eg switches under the radio and still no good.
I have power coming to the fuse but nothing to the resister

Just wondering if anybody had a similar problem or knows of a solution
Thanks to any help on advance

Did you check the coolant level?

Just to be clear, are you saying that air is circulating fine but the only problem is that the air is cold. If this is the case it points to a coolant circulation problem - maybe coolant is low or needs to be bled or worst case heater matrix is blocked. Maybe engine thermostat has stuck open, but if so I would still expect a little heat after it has been running for a while. Is engine temperature OK? Is there anti-freeze in it - could the system have frozen?
