If FHFC had Heaton and Wisdom instead of Green and Hutton he would have romped home as top player in the world this week. What an honour it would be to have a forumite in that position:P

70(-4) shows green arrows for me. Currently just outside 5k, the aforementioned Heaton and Wisdom were the heroes for me this week, captaining Haz would have been sweet but I was never gonna look past Costa for that fixture.

No I took a pts hit aswell. 96 -4 for me . GW rank of 800 and up to 2.3k in the overall rankings.

Was that your highest ever GW rank btw? I'd imagine a top 1,000 ranking for a week doesn't come along often.

I don't think I have ever had a top 1k gw rank and have been playing FPL since it began!

I'm not sure to be honest but two years ago at Xmas I had walcott captain with 52 pts when hardly anyone else did. Id only started posting regularly here at the time and it was my greatest ff call ever. It was an Xmas gw with lots of rotation and the obvious capt choice rvp only came on as sub. Most also had cazorla as there arsenal coverage as he had 4 assists in a game a couple of weeks before. ID say that is the only other time I'd have been higher from memory.

I had him but hadn't captained him. A hat trick and two assists as Arsenal scored seven vs Newcastle.

Cazorla had actually scored a hat trick and assisted one, not assisted four, a couple of weeks prior to that game against Reading.

That's right I knew cazorla had a big score as I had him that night. Walcott started upfront that night against reading and looked great. Arsenal had their Dec 26 game off due to a tube strike and Newcastle played utd on the 26th so arsenal were fresh when they played them the 28th or 29th a lot would have shifted their arsenal players as they had no game on the 26th. Its very rare a plan comes together so perfect as that did. I think I attached the thread from that gw in the Xmas prep thread so must have a look through it at the scores.

Finished on 83 points in the end. With players returning from suspension, and new injuries, i currently have 3 injuried players. Was looking to bank a transfer, and if things stay the way they are, could be looking at another week of only 12 players, two of them being keepers.

one point to note - which you may or may not care about.

The cup is starting GW18, so probably better to take hits this week instead.

Cazorla's 4 assists came in about the 2nd last game of the season, I had him and it won me my main cash league that season and gave me a top 600 overall finsh.
