Location is Wexford/Kildare or anywhere in between depending on the time of week. Regular visits to dublin, skirmishing at redhills airsoft site this Sunday 14th dec. Motorola GP300. Great radios over ten years old. As for sourcing they are all over the internet secondhand. They have been replaced by newer Motorola models but from my experience these older GP300's are as good as if not better than the newer models, they were built to last, take a beating and keep on working. As can be seen by the amount of them still available. They work well indoors. used to see a lot of them in niteclubs and with security firms etc. Any secondhand one the batteries will be knackered but replacements relatively cheap out of china. Also thing to remember is of course that a specific charger is required and does not come with a lot of radios for sale. So overall they a great radio, spare parts east to get. Tough and reliable. As for cost as with everything you get what you pay for
