So I was taking the car out of the shed but with the brakes being cold I ended up headbutting a fencing post due to pure carelessness...
Bumper was only painted 3 months ago...
Anyway I'm looking for advice on whether to try and touch up the scratch or whether I should bite the bullet and cough up for a professional respray.
    I have a d/a buffer.

Ouchies. I'm on my phone but it looks like it covers a large enough strip (stupid pole).

I guess it's down to yourself and your proficiency with touch up as well as the value of the car and it's appearance to you.

Personally I'd probably just get it resprayed. It looks a large chunk to try repair.

That's assuming paint is completely gone, I'm not sure from ****ty phone screen.

Yeah can't believe I was so fecking careless, I had the phone in one hand, steering wheel in the other and just not thinkin about brakes being cold.
It's scratched and slightly cracked the splitter too so probably will get it sprayed again since the car is mint apart from that.

That is an absolute pain. Of the car is mint then you know yourself you will want it perfect, I know I would.

At least it's not a mistake you will make again I guess.

    Re-spray unfortunately :(
Above the fog light might polish up reasonably well, below wont.

Yeah I've already been in touch with the guy who painted it for me. Will hopefully get me squeezed in b4 new year!
Was lucky enough I didn't crack the fog light at least..
