    Hi all

    heres the situation

i got onto revenue to request a p21 for 2013

in doing so the agent on the phone noticed i had changed jobs in july 2014 but that my tax credits were still with my previous company so ive not had the benefit of them for the last 6 months.

She has updated the new company registration number on my PAYE account so from next month on i should notice a slight difference in my salary as tax credits are applied.

she also told me that apparently i can claim a refund for unused tax credits in 2014 but will need to submit my p60 from my new company first then request a p21.

im slightly confused about all of this, does it make sense to any taxtperts on here who could explain whats happened and most importantly should i expect any kind of refund on 2014's p21 as a result?

    confused.com

    thanks in advance
    morph
