    Looks big enough.
Might want to get some right-angled sata cables as the ports will be right underneath the card.

What CPU are you running on? that looks like a 775 board?

it's this afaik. It was an amazon misprice, Intel Core i7-3770, 1 TB HD, 16 GB RAM, Win 7 Professional for 350 so thought I'd throw in a decent card for a cheap gaming rig.

    Ah sweet!
    Yep, that'll be tidy.

Actually - forgot to ask. What PSU are you using there?

Looks like a very cheap supply. Very thin cables.

You'll need a new power supply as well.

Something like the Corsair CX430/EVGA White 430W can be had for under €40 and will be fine.

Well spotted boys! I have that sorted, got an xfx 550w and a crucial ssd to install also when I'm putting the card in. BTW if I just replace the current hard drive with the ssd how easy is it to reinstall a fresh windows 7 os on it.
Don't want the bother of cloning and I know that's not recommended for an ssd. Thanks.

It's identical but faster to installing it on a HDD.
And a fresh install every now and then is good.

You also appear to have no case fans. I would at least add an exhaust fan at the back. Computer's not going to burst into flames without one or anything but having no fans at all isn't ideal for temperatures.
