Excessive 02 Mobile Broadband Charges

Hi All, I got huge bill from 02 for mobile Broadband this month, it was €320 as I went over my 15GB Limit by 10GB. I have no issue with paying for the additional usage but not that amount as i can't afford it, plus its ridiculous.

Can't get my head around how a company can charge you €20.32 for 15GB and then expect to be paid €300 for an additional 10GB, its daylight robbery. You get no warning text, no email to say you have gone over, no system which blocks you when you hit your limit, it looks intentional to me so people will run over and incur these ridiculous charges.

I have talked to customer service no joy, sent an email no joy, nobody seems to be in a position to discusss, asked Customer Service for someone who could discuss to call me but have heard nothing. Who in 02 do you talk to in relation to the above? I been a loyal customer of 02 for a number of years but don't feel like i am been treated like one. I feel fustrated and that they are taking advantage. Should I discuss my situation with Comreg?

If it's your first billing, you could try weaselling out of it and they might waive it off. I did with mine, here's a scan of the bill to show you how much it was:

LINK (Ofc, this is a massive fault at their end... they didn't reset after cooldown period, and it's charging €0.85 per MB)

Should've gone with THREE's "All you can eat" offering of practically unlimited download allowance for €20 a month, or if you don't feel comfortable exploiting that... there's the 60GB package for €35.

I have heard that they will write off up to 90% of such a bill if its the first time.
