Guys looking for suggestions of a rugby related Xmas present? I'm no expert on rugby so thought this would be good place to ask

Person in question plays club rugby and also attends Munster games on occasion.

Anything out there that would make a nice present? Around the €50 mark if possible

The obvious are things like Jerseys and Tickets for games, which can be around that price.

In terms of jerseys you have the option of buying a Munster or Ireland jersey, or something a bit left field, like a Barbarians Jersey for instance.

Speaking of. If you were thinking tickets, Ireland are playing the Barbarians in Limerick (presumably close to the recipient) in the spring and could be a nice treat, although this forum are unsure how good the Irish team will be that day.

Other potential good gifts could be sentimental, for instance if you have some pictures of them playing a pretty slick framed collage or something would be nice if the pictures are a decent quality.

If you think they would like equipment, compression gear or "baselayer" is popular and less risky than say boots (which are very personal preference based). It also comes in like superhero styles. Perfect for baltic nights training. It usually retails somewhere around 40 quid, but you can get very good discounts on sportsdirect if you would like to order more.

Finally I think there are some decent rugby biographies out at the moment, Brian O Driscolls in particular, but some posters could recommend a few more if you thought he would be interested in reading.

A photo frame of MOC still sitting in the Leinster coaching box is sure to bring a smile to the face of every Munster fan.

Of the sports bio books i've read this year BOD's would be my least favourite, but then I know his story so well already.

Munster are doing 3 match tickets for 45euro deal

Head into the Munster rugby store and see if they have anything there that grabs your attention.

You could also consider a corporate package in Thomond Park but that would be more than the €50 or there might be cheaper options in the Irish Independent Park (old Musgrave Park)

Lifestyle Sports have a load of Leinster stocking fillers. Would be surprised if they didn't have similar for Munster.

EDIT: They have pretty much EXACTLY the same stuff rebranded for Munster - http://www.lifestylesports.com/en/restofworld/rugby/icat/icat/munsterrugbyallmunster

Can't beat a random team jersey. Baa-baas cotton jersey is a classic.
