UPC Cable TV available but not broadband

    Hey guys,

    Have been on this forum a while and haven't really seen much info on my current question

    Has anyone any experience with UPC and getting the network into their home?

    I currently live within 200 meters of a UPC cable connection and yet we cannot get this.

    It is a block of apartments with 55 units , high end in Tivoli in Cork and Eircom can only push 0.5mbps to the building themselves. So currently using Digiweb Wireless which just doesn't cut it to be honest

    Any ideas what would worth doing, if anything at all?


    PS they can offer TV here , which I think is the older cable system???

    Its an old analogue tv setup. Apartments often have their own distribution from the basement. Speak to your management agency.
