I wonder did anybody experience a power cut yesterday (Sunday Dec 7th). I had a loss of power for no obvious reason. No overloading, very few appliances switched on. Trip switch at fuse board tripped and I reset it. All was well. I wonder was there a power surge in parts of Greystones at about 3.30 p.m.

An MCB tripping is highly unlikely to have been caused by anything outside your home.
