Am I missing something on the An Post website? Is there a way to buy a dog license online or do I have to do it in person*? *at the risk of sounding like moany 14yr old - oh the effort of going to the post office!

You buy it online from your county council. So say for Dublin CC you go to their online payments section and you go other payments -> licenses/permits and there's an option for the dog license.

Is it possible to transfer licenses form one perosn to another? I got our dog from my sister. Her husband had bought the license but I'm not sure if there is a "tranfer of ownership" type option - any one know?
