    Hi Loungers,

What do you do / what have you done in the past about Christmas presents for somebody you only started going out with in September/October/November?

    Keep it fun / cheap.

Funny threadless t-shirt, a bottle of booze with an entertaining name, that kind of thing.

Ask them out straight "Are we doing presents?".

If you are, keep it lighthearted, as pwurple says.

I started seeing my boyfriend a few weeks before Christmas, so I really didn't know him well at all. I just bought him the aftershave he wears; not particularly imaginative but at least I knew he'd wear it!

Ask them if we are doing presents.
Aftershave is always good, or just go out for a nice meal
