If anyone has a son who either looks like Rory or plays like Rory (yea, right!), then there's a casting call for a TV advertisement next week.

The details are up on the blog.

Based on that description you could play me right now.

I'd say lots of us could slot in nicely there. I can imagine them on sky sports in the shot centre. Denis Pugh breaking down the swing saying if he could just see the ball over his beer belly he would be right in the mix.

There actually is a guy that is the spit of him. We were in Reardon's on the Fri night of the Irish open and there is a guy with the same unique facial features and sizewise and hair is the exact same as Rory. From side on it looked like him, until he started smoking.

I noticed later on that people were asking him for pics. The real Rory was also present the same night.

Think I've seen the same lad, the image of Rory. I spotted him at the Irish Open when it was held in Killarney. Apparently he was (at the time anyway) a very good up and coming prospect himself, or so I was told by locals.

Whether he was there as a decoy or what I don't know. Rory himself was in an area sectioned off but was out dancing alright later on in the night.
