I work in retail at the moment and see security guards just literally standing there for hours on the phone, texting and talking to anybody who is willing to listen. From my experience in the last few years I think people are less likely to raise a fist any more because they know the financial consequences it can have on them. Of course it still happens but not near as much as it wud have in say the 90's

A fist be a fine thing, you have a knife, needle, sawn off gun put at you and your totally armless what do you do then.
