The UE Boom is a highly rated portable speaker from Logitech

I was going to pull the trigger on this yesterday when it was £169 but when I went on today it was £99 which was sweet as it is a present for me from my parents so I saved them money

Cheers OP. Just got one. Exactly what I was looking for. Also available in red or black for the same price.

Used one of those recently, they are a very good little speaker for the money. Battery holds up pretty well too.

Not as good as the bose ones but a fraction of the price!

The price varies depending on the colour. Pink is still £169...

Picked up this for €69 in PC world Cork a few weeks ago so maybe it was a miss price as I see it for 79 sterling on Amazon
    Great bit of kit

Edit: maybe not a miss price as I see it goes down to £49 in Currys.co.uk every now and again. So maybe keep your eyes open for a deal
Well worth it for that price

Got one of the smaller versions for £39 on Amazon for Black Friday...

    Love it!

Used it mostly to pump Spotify music out of my iPad, and it sound great.

It is not as good with games though, as when I was playing Kingdom Rush some of the sound effects (booms from explosions) sounded bad coming out of the speaker. Maybe the bangs are too much noise for the speaker, or maybe I should play with equalizer settings (you can do this with an App)...

For music/radio it is a great product though!
