    Law Society of Ireland: Finding your Training Contract

    Seminar on 26 January 2015

    This January seminar aims to address the fears and myths surrounding finding a training contract. Participants will receive practical information and expert guidance in relation to CVs, cover letters and how best to approach the search. You will also hear directly from trainee solicitors who are currently on the Professional Practice Course I. It takes place on 26 January 2015 2.00pm - 5.45 pm for €28.

    They usually have this every year and it is about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike at helping you find a training contract.

    Money making racket.

    By all means go to it if you're free. You may gain something from it, or even see other people's experiences. But actually helping you find a training contract I felt it makes zilch difference.

    Main thing is getting experience and then just doing interviews and learning from them.

    Thankfully have one myself. After that tough process I empathise with anyone on the hunt!
