Treatment before Power Washing house

Has anyone heard of a treatment that goes on roof of a house before power wash, where the rain washes it down and helps remove some of algae etc first?

Try patio magic it's great stuff , available in woodies , read instructions..online reviews etc and test in an inconspicuous area etc, etc.....

be very careful washing tiles/slates i can see them taking flight or flooding roof with water,think you turn a lovely shade of green if that happened,never heard of power washing roof as you have to be above and wash down from below and work way up.
