Ship Bottle of Alcohol To US

    I would like to ship one bottle of Jameson to a friend in California. The Jameson website says that US Customs will not allow them to deliver there.

    Does anyone know if I am able to ship it personally myself using a courier?

    Thanks for any advice given.

    No, not permissible even if you send it yourself. It'll get confiscated as far as I can recall.

    Jameson is much cheaper over here, have you tried looking for a US retailer who will ship domestically instead?

    Bevmo even have Green spot in stock sometimes, an altogether nicer whiskey if your friend is into whiskey.
