Picked up a suffolk ewe for €20 because she had mastitis. Shes gone in lamb to a suffolk ram and from what i can make out she still has one side left so will she be ok to rear a single? And i heard from a few people that if the lamb tries to suck from the bad side it can kill them?

I had a ewe raise a single this year with one blind side. I'd just leave them to it.

have had ewes with blind side raise singles here no problem, handy tip i was told one time is to tape up the bad teat for a while and when the lamb gets used to sucking only on one side wont suck the bad side
