Advice on career paths in Biotechnology??

    Hi guys,

    Ive just completed a MSc in Biotechnology (healthcare) and am now a bit conflicted on what career direction to take.

    I'd really appreciate some insight into different career paths in this area and to paricullarly hear from those working in industry, healthcare or research in relation to job satisfaction / salary etc.

    I've always done we'll in research so a PhD might be the best option but for the time being I am targeting industry and healthcare labs for jobs.

    Any advice would be really appreciated thanks

    I'm not aware of any jobs in healthcare that recruit biotech people.
    The options that come to my mind are industries like pharmaceuticals and research (research assistant as well as PhD student)
