    Hi all

Im feeling really down lately. Not really in the mood for doing things.i get mood swings and i hate going in to my job. I feel like no matter what i do im just going backwards instead of forwards(if that makes sense). Nothing ever goes right for me. Im not looking for pity. I cry a lot. Ive tried to talk to my partner but shes more interested on what goes on in other peoples likes then mine. It crossed my mind that it could be depression. Ive made an appointment to see my gp. Is anyone else going through the same. I feel like the weight of the world is on me all the time

Hi, I didn't want to read that and not reply. It sounds like depression to me. I'm glad you are going to the GP and I suggest you just hand it over to the gp and follow advice. I wish you well

I was wondering what spurred a bloke to go to the gp. A lot of people suffer from depression and the anti depressants can be a huge help, they can spur you into motivating yourself to do exercise and to do the things that are good for you that you cant do when you are depressed and can hardly get the enthusiasm to get out of bed

Im surprised some sort of medical advice was allowed in this post.
Id suggest having a read here:http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057232424
And see if you can pick anything out in particular and then go to your gp with a bit of ideas. Are you often feeling like this, can you feel better whist busy.might it be that xmas feeling when you do not enjoy it.we all get in ruts.only your gp can rule anything else.I wont say chin up but i do hope you feel better soon.x
