Ive got floorboards in the ensuite, pretty small area, 4x2m maybe.
thinking of a heated floor, been told in the past not to put down tiles on the wooden floor due to movement leading to cracks. Is there a tile substitute?

Is there an electrical floor I can put under that can just plug in or do I need an electrician to hook something up?

Yes you can get an electrical heat mat for under the tiles, normally comes with a timer which gets wired into the mains. I know someone who got one fitted, very happy with the results.

you can tile the floor.you must fix 6mm wbp plywood onto the floor boards using either 1inch ring shank nails or 1 inch screws.I personally fix every 5 inches.

you can buy a heated mat that is glued to the floor.after the ply is fixed you spread the tile adhesive (flexable adhesive for timber) and bed the mat in.then just lay the tiles down as normal on the adhesive.you will need an electrician to wire it up
