    Hi All,

Seems after 10 years my panasonic LCD projector is about to give up.  Do you stock any panasonic projectors ? I'm basically looking for a Full HD (1080p) LCD projector, don't really care about 3D.

I did see you had some good offers on DLP projectors but I have this fear about the Rainbow effect that some people seem to get.

    Any recommendations ?

    thanks

Sybot - many thanks for the post and apologies for the delay getting back to you.

We do the Panasonic PTATA6000 to order at £2299.95 / €2999.99 ( the euro price includes delivery) - you can check it out ( and order it :D) here:
    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-200114-ptat6000e.aspx

Of course I'm not sure on your budget - do you have a budget in mind? if you give us an idea we will revert with some suggestions,

Thanks again and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,

    thanks,

that one I suppose is out of price bracket. I think the last time I bought one it was around €1,700 so was looking to spend around the same again.

Any recommendations on the DLP ones, do the newer models still have RE as an issue for some people ?

    thanks,

    Syboit,

apologies for the delay getting back to you - we have really no issues with RE in decent PJ at the moment the most popular models from Optoma / Benq and Sony really are all pretty amazing for the money these days and the overall improvement in light levels, detail and movement handling is amazing in the last couple of years - its a really competitive market and unlike the TV market pretty much all the PJ manufacturers really seem to be churning out excellent quality kit.

€1700 - now that's a problem !  You will get a pretty amazing PJ for that money but with our current range it sort of falls between two stools - the excellent What Hifi 5 star Benq W1400 is £899.95 / €1199 ( but you are paying an extra bit as its an excellent short throw jobbie) then there is a bit of a gap to the next real step up which is the excellent Sony VPL40Es at £1849 / €2278

    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-200917-w1400.aspx

    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-200437-vpl-hw40es.aspx

The Sony is exceptional but to be fair the new Benq 1070 Plus is pretty amazing as well at a far lower price point of just £649.95!

Apologies again for the delay and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,

    Hi John,

Back again, my older panansic 2000 limped on for another bit, but reckon its close to the end now. I've been looking around and reckon the panasonic PT-at6000e could be the one for me. I've seen the price has come down on a few other stores, just wondering if RS have an updated price on this one.

    thanks,

    Hi Syboit.

Sorry its a special order as its not normally one that we hold in stock here at Belfast.

Where have you seen the projector cheaper and for what price? I'll see if it is possible for us to price beat.
