So I've been having some really strange dreams in pregnancy, getting all the more vivid and scary recently (25 weeks now). Anyone else experiencing similar?

Yes! It was my first symptom and at 18 weeks I'm still having them. So vivid and real - last nights was about playing a theoretical version of pitch and putt with very complicated rules...

Some of them are so strange! Like I have ones where something is wrong with the baby, where I know it is just real life fears being represented, but some like the one you described above just makes no sense whatsoever and yet are so clear and feel so real. A lot of the time they wake me up because they feel so real!

Mine were very vivid. They were very cool mostly. I put it down to hormones.
