Would people consider letting cattle back out if the weather continued to be as it is lately. Dry and mild here

I doubt it, probably depends on closing cover and stocking rate next spring. Lads on heavy land might try it as they never really know when the cows go out in the spring, in comparison to dry land.

No way there in and settled on winter diet, putting them
Back out and then again will leave them a bit exposed to pbuemonia and lead to a period of lack of thrive due to chopping and changing of grub.putban emphasis on getting stock out in February instead,a reel of wire or 2 and a few pigtails is all you'll need

Let the weanlings out today. They would be out for the winter anyway but have a nice bit of grass left on the summer ground so will let them eat that before the go to the winterage. I'd be hoping the shouldn't poach it but if they start to I will take them out of it.
