I have not used either of those turbos but they look to be fairly similar to me. Hopefully someone will have experience of the models to help you.

One thing to bare in mind is that if you wanted to use trainerroad at some stage to help monitor or put a structure to your training then Elite turbos are supported whereas I don't think that btwin ones are.
