I don't think that yoke will see active service again.
Would your ERE calf be good enough to bring to Carrick?

Probably, but he's not trained or fed for it. Man here today picked up two weanlings he'd bought, then put a deposit on a third while on the way out  He was making quare looks at the ERE bull in the pen and had him walked out the passage for him too.
I'd prefer to see him going for breeding but his stars are shoite, no matter how good he looks.

They're sold tomorrow, I'd imagine some of them are fit to be killed.
Some of the heifers will be bought for breeding.

Yep, in other years there was a certain Italian crowd around buying too. ;)
Some will also be sold to be exhibited elsewhere next year.

Thatsfarming on snap chat have a good cover of the sale today. Some really good prices and some average enough prices.

Paying 2/3/4 k for a stuffed heifer seems mad. She's never going to be a top cow because of her pampering in her previous life. Are they bought for showing or what?
