Merida Crossway 20

Seeing as it's Black Friday and I'm looking for a winter bike I decided to pop into the local bike shop. I was considering getting a cycle cross bike but they're way beyond my budget.

He had a lot of hybrids and considering I'll be doing a mix of road, paths and forest trails I thought they'd be ideal.

He had a Merida Crossway 20 at €550 but I'm getting it for €430, trading in an old mountain bike leaves it at €330. I'm happy enough with that.

It has disc brakes and suspension on the seat as well as the front forks so should be smooth enough on trails and I know Merida is a good make.

Is anyone familiar with that particular model? If so, what are your thoughts?
