€800-900 Gaming Build

Hey there, just looking for advice on a €800-900 Gaming Build that will also be used for editing (Photoshop, inDesign, Video editing etc.). I would also like to ensure that I will be able to upgrade in the future.

1. What is your budget? €800-900

2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming is the priority - Civilisation, Total War, FPSes, Skyrim, though editing as well as I mentioned above.

3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes, though it seems I can get that cheap on reddit.

4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

5. Do you need a monitor? No

6. Do you need any of these peripherals? No

7. Are you willing to try overclocking? No

8. How can you pay? Paypal/Credit Card

9. When are you purchasing? Soon, do you think it's possible at this stage to get it before Christmas?

10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Considering getting it pre-built.

The machine will be capable of playing any game you throw at it at 1080p on max settings and you'll be able to heavily mod skyrim. The processor will be capable of doing any of the editing too, obviously wont be as fast as an i7 but unless you're doing editing everyday and you need the extra performance then there isn't really any point as you're paying a lot extra for that benefit. However, if you feel like you need that, just let me know and I'll make a new build. Also, if you have any questions let me know.

Make sure you run everything through Geizhals and use your voucher discount(This will cover the cost of getting windows from reddit)

Thanks! This all looks excellent. Would you recommend I build this myself? I'm a first timer but relatively competent. That said, I wouldn't mind paying to have it pre-built should that prove economical.

Well, I'd recommend just putting it together yourself. Nothing quite like the enjoyment you get when you build something from ground up.

There are plenty of video's all over the web on how to build a computer too so that shouldn't be an issue.
