    Hi,
i'm looking to upgrade my subscription to a HD package. basically i'm paying €36 with a sky + box but its givign trouble and is years old, i've been offered to upgrade to HD for €7.50 extra a month for a year and €30 to install the box. Is this a good offer. Also i told him i've disconnected the phone line and he said thats no a problem. But someone at work said that if i want to watch the box sets that I have to download them and i will need wifi. I have an O2 dongle that we use for internet but its not connected into the tv. can anyone give me some advice.

    many thanks

for box sets and other on demand content on a sky+ HD box you need an internet connection, either wired to a router or wifi.

If your o2 dongle is a wifi one then the sky box can connect to it wirelessly but a 3g internet connection may be too slow for downloading large videos and you would have to be very careful of any data limits you have with o2. 1 hour of SD video is around 800-900MB, 1 hour of HD is 2.5-3GB
