Saw a local farm put up them gale breakers on a metal steel frame that was hinged onto the rsj. They are up 10/12 years and only one in need of replacing. Handy for opening quickly

Sam I paid about 200 per bay last year. Excellent job though

    What depth?
Paid 80 euro(I think) for 6 ft. deep to cover 30 ft. on front of shed.Thats with standard ratchet straps sown on top and bottom with hooks on one end.You just use your own ratchets.

No, I didn't purchase. spending €200 to cover one bay sounded dear so I went with galvanised sheeting instead for a more permanent solution.

You can get a 50m roll of 1m high netting similar to the stuff that goes on scaffolding for 30e in any builders providers. No straps on it but a couple of lats should help keep it tight and fix it to the rsj. Have the gale breakers here with the straps too and they are handy to put up but depending on whether it's an entry point a rail on top and a fixed bar on the side to open close would be handy to slide em back out the way and then close again

I used that for the end of a hayshed, it's up 10 years and still works. It's a bit awkward to stretch it, I used two 2x3s and bolted a threaded bar to them to keep it tight.
