I've used every prescription medication for acne you can think of and Zineryt is good, but HARSH on the skin, very harsh.

Duac I found never ever worked for me though. Not even slightly. But I found an OTC cream called Quinoderm which is also a Benzoyl Peroxide (That's currently off the market because of new European chemical import laws. It's due back in Early 2015) that works wonders. It's the best thing I've ever used and I've pumped so much money into finding and treating the source of my acne for years.

I now take an Oral Antibiotic and use quinoderm once daily and I've never looked back :) Still get a little on my chest but so long as my face is cleaned up, I can deal with it! :pac:

In light of the information above I should say that my sister used Duac and found it to be amazing, even though it never worked at all for me. Different strokes for different folks! :)

I tried 2 Antibiotics but I don't think I'm allowed name them, in line with forum charter. I don't want to be giving medical advice! I did try one before the one I'm currently on and it was terrible but the one I'm currently on is pretty good. Again, different strokes for different folks. It's a finicky thing to get to the bottom of (acne) but if you keep at it, trial and error you'll get it under control.

Never mind the above, I suppose I'm just giving my 2 cents on what I've tried. Just like with the OTC stuff I mention. I should point out this is NOT medical advice though

I tried Tetracyn (Tetracycline) and found it be to terrible but I'm currently taking Vibramycin (Doxycycline) which I found to be nothing short of epic.

Try acne.org for everything you need, it sorted me out when I was fairly bad.
