htc one m7 message app problems

    Hi

    Few issues with the stock message app. There is three buttons at the top of this screen, search, + (add new messages), and three vertical dots for an extra menu.

    They have stopped working once clicked but they still turn blue when I do click them.

    Any idea what's wrong? I've searched the web and found nothing.

    Ever thought about using Hangouts to send SMS? I was very dubious at first but now i wouldn't go back, hangouts/sms in same convo, just switch as ya like

    In using the Google message app. Not the hangouts one . Hangouts kept messing up and the names of my contacts stopped showing up
