Just turned my camera on for the 1st time in 6 months..and the LCD screen has horrible blurring. When I take a photo the picture appears like an oil painting on the screen. Its dreaful. The camera has only been used a handful of times since I bought it 3 years ago.
Could it be possible that the battery being left it in the camera has caused permanent damage? Or would this be a common enough problem. Not sure what to do? Any suggestions.

Was it exposed to Moisture at any stage during storage?
