My dentist gave me a leaflet about Sylc Prophy Therapy treatment. Just wondering if anyone has had it done.

Thats an interesting one, many dentists use the air polisher with a polishing powder. Its really great at getting rid of stains in between the teeth and removing tobacco and stubborn stains. This one is supposed to have remineralization and desensitizing effects, I would take that with a grain of salt but the general concept is sound, and IMHO well worth while.

what actual effect does remineralization have? Would it make a noticeable difference to the depth of the enamel on teeth?

    No, microscopic remineralisation at best.
