    ^No problem thanks.

    1. What is your budget? 1500-1600.

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming, light editing.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No.

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? Just Monitor.

    5. Do you need a monitor? No.

5a. If yes, what size do you need. [19'/20'/22'/24'/etc.]

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 1920x1080. Definitely plan to upgrade in the future, more likely 4k instead of 120 fps.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Yes mouse and keyboard.

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Yes

    8. How can you pay? Laser.

    9. When are you purchasing? In next 10 days.

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? No help required.

So yeah the budget has increased, my main issue currently is whether to go with a 970 or 980. I was looking a Corsair 760t case, which is nearly 200 and throwing off my own builds budget, so that may have to be comprimised on. Also going i5 or i7 is pretty difficult at the moment.

I have a bit of a weird one here lads, I did up a build on amazon and was feeling happy about it, until I saw the estimated free delivery was between the 18th of December and 19th of January? Anybody have an experience with this? Are they just trying to cover themselves or is that a legit estimate? I can go with the premium delivery for 150 euro and guarantee it next week but the budget is already stretched.

Thats crazy, can you link me to your amazing basket or something. There must be a product out of stock or not expected for awhile etc.

I know, I contacted them and they said because some parts are located in Europe thats the reason for the insane delivery estimate even though they're all in stock. I called Komplett and they said they also have their parts shipped from Holland to UK to Ireland and he guranteed 3-4 days with UPS. Would go with Komplett but they don't have the case I want, and for the money I'm spending I kind of don't want to settle.

Heres the link anyway. Brilliant can't post the link because I'm a new user apparently.

Well, I recently got a Nepton 280L the day it was posted on:

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=93050394&postcount=1306

I got it two days ago, so it didn't take that long. That was estimated 1-3 months as said in the post.

Also, a build for your budget that I would be thinking would be:

    http://www.hardwareversand.de/en/Intel+AMD/169148/NOCTUA+NH-U14S.article
http://www.hardwareversand.de/en/4096+MB/179598/Gigabyte+GeForce+GTX+970+G1+Gaming%2C+4GB+GDDR5.article (SLI - This will push out more than enough for your 1080p 120hz+ monitor at ultra on any game and will transition decently into 4k)

I have left out the case from the build as that's a persons own personal preference. The reason I have used hardwareversand is just that it's easier to work from in terms of getting components for the build etc. So just search up each of the components for the website you wish to use (if you go with the above build). If you did go with hardwareversand(which I know you wont based on wanting to go with Komplett) then you'd be saving a lot of money with geizhals and the €20 off when you go above €1000

That's solely for the components, my personal build which I'll be going for soon is very similar to the above, case is the NZXT Phantom 530, only 128gb ssd as I don't feel I'll need the 256gb version and I'll be using mine for light editing and gaming.

Also, I should probably include that for 4k, currently priced at £500 you could get a r9 295x2. The card would perform higher at 4k than the gtx 970 SLI and thanks to Gbear for bringing that to my attention.

Oh really, what do you make of the delivery estimates then? Just a way of covering themselves maybe?

Very nice build man thank you. I was thinking about stretching the budget and going with an i7 and gtx 980, but it's just pushing it too much for what really wouldn't be a major difference in performance? Well at least thats the impression I've been getting.

I'm leaning against Komplett at the moment too so no problem with Hardwareversand.

You made me rethink the ssd I was going to go for too, was thinking maybe 500 gig just to have less hassle with multiple drives, but about €280 for it was running me over budget too. So yeah really nice savings you've suggested here man thanks.

No problem at all. The thing is mate, in my current budget I could fit an i7 but it just isn't worth it. I'm not doing a lot of editing and waiting a couple of minutes isn't going to kill me when it's saving around €100.

The gtx 980 as has been posted in: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=93230316&postcount=688 thanks to Danger would mean that getting a gtx 980 is more appealing. However, dual gtx 970's blow a gtx 980 out of the water but obviously with the above post means that it's £150 more than a single 980.

    Yep makes sense.

Wow yeah that is a nice looking deal.

    Any recommendations on a motherboard?

Oh damn, I'm very sorry about that, I forgot to include that in the build.
