Pub with an open fire in the city?

    I have a day off on Friday and am investigating options to park myself & a book in front of a fire with some alcohol. Does anyone know if any city centre (or within a short enough hoof) pubs have an open fire? I know Beer House on Capel street does at times but other options would be great because I'm not 100% that they'll be open late afternoon/early evening.
