Volunteering at animal shelters?

    Hi there, i live in maynooth and am looking to volunteer in a shelter for animals but everywhere i have found you need a car to get to and unfortunately i don't drive at the moment. Is there any shelters that you can get to by public transport or walking? It can be near dublin or in the kildare region.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    If they have a facebook page ask if anyone would give you a lift. I would offer a lift if i saw someone asking!
