There's this thing on the auld interweb called a search engine - you may have heard of it.

Google is one such search engine.

that would be an ideal place to find info on Ascendia - you'll find they are a very very big company.

Hey no need to be so rude delahuntv!! OP I ordered a Sandisk 64gb Micro SD and when I got the dispatch email I thought the same as you: Asendia? What the hell is that? Whoever they are they're slow as the delivery estimate is over a week away.

    not rude - called sarcasm!

If I want to find out something quickly, i will check google - usually I'll get my answer in 2 seconds. Less than it takes for the OP to create the post.

Tis very simple and usually very accurate and gives you the info on the spot - now if the OP had just asked who the Irish partners of Ascendia are, that would be different, but asking who they on a forum in the era of google - is maybe just lazy?

"Ascendia delivery Ireland" - gives results of reports that ascendia signed a deal with Nightline in 2011. Therefore by deduction, I reckon Nightline are the delivery agent. (results delivered in 0.83 seconds_

Mate if you're not happy about a post then go somewhere else. There's no one forcing you to reply....personally I find your attitude offensive. Sarcasm is the last refuge of a weak mind as they say.

But you didn't make the post!!!!! So I don't know how you are offended - do you get offended THAT easily? - maybe look google up for "sense of humour" and buy one - Yep THAT'S sarcasm too.

Point of my post was that Google will immediately give you information if you are concerned about something - you don't have to wait for second hand information that may or may not be correct.

Or you can come to places like boards which are forums for people to find information, ask for help with issues and get advice from people who for example have used this service before.

I also ordered from amazon and one of the items is being delivered by asendia. As your post is a few days ago wondering if any of your items arrived and who they came with eg courier/an post etc

With courier? Which courier do you know by any chance?

It was a Micro SD and the regular postman dropped it in.

Have a game from Amazon that dispatched on the 29th of November via Asendia. Still waiting on it. Meanwhile the 2 presents I ordered a few days earlier arrived within 2 days via An Post.

Sorry to bump an old topic, but I found this amusing that when you search for "asendia ireland" on google.ie this is the 2nd search result after the actual company.
