I got really excited when I seen this, then I seen the "Over 18s", now I am so disappointed

Unless advertised otherwise all gigs in The Academy & The Limelight can be presumed 18+ I'm afraid

Oh really? I have never been there but I am considering going to the architects there in March thats advertised as over 14's. Does it have an open bar? I was in the Olympia recently and their bar is kinda sectioned off and bouncers monitored who went in and out.

Ya it does but as it's an over 14's show no alcohol would be served.

Probably wrong with this but apparently there was an incident at the academy a few weeks back the result of which is that all gigs there must be 18+. I heard this from a friend who went to New Found Glory last week. Wondering if there is any substance to this rumour

I suppose Bruce Springsteen and Bono were sat at the tables watching said incident ;)

Wonder what happened, that show was originally 18+ but was changed a couple of weeks before to a 14's show

Apparently it was changed back to over 18s the week before the event apparently as they were serving alcohol at NFG

The bar at the back of the stage for NFG was closed, just serving soft drinks and water.

They were serving alcohol in the bar downstairs. But there was a guy checking IDs on entry. That could have had something to do with it?
