Hey guys, I was recently advised by a friend to invest money in a good desktop rather than rely on laptops for gaming, so this is my first time trying to customise my own PC. I could really use the advice of some experts and people who have experience with this process so multiple recommendations are MORE than welcome!

    1. What is your budget? Currently €700

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer?
Gaming, Latest titles (if feasible), Shadow of Mordor, Battlefield 4, Half-life 2, Garry’s Mod, 7 Days to die etc. I'm also a student; I’ll need Microsoft word and advice on an anti-virus if there aren't any free recommendable programmes.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

    5. Do you need a monitor? Yes

5a. If yes, what size do you need?
    Nothing major, 18-20 will do.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card]
    Just the keyboard

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? No

    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card]

    9. When are you purchasing? I was planning on December but January 2015 would probably be better.

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Co. Dublin

Thanks for reading; I could really use the help!
